‘Surf N Hire’ Experience

This experience is a fantastic way to maximise your time at the beach. If you are a complete novice or have had a beginner surf lesson before and can remember the basics of catching waves, getting to your feet and want to maximise water time then this is the best session for you! Your day will start with a morning lesson from one of our experienced instructors who will provide you with plenty of tips to learn new skills or refresh skills forgotten. Once your lesson is complete you can keep the board and the wetsuit for the rest of the day and put your new skills in to practice. Make a day of your surfing experience – its the best and most rewarding way to get to grips with surfing!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Timings:

Morning lessons are available every day of the week. You will have hire of the equipment to 5pm. After your morning lesson you are able to keep the kit straight away. We require a min of 2 people for the lesson to run. On occasions this will run as a mixed ability class but our team are experienced enough to focus on each individual and to set specific drills relevant to your skill level.

Our max group ratios are 1:8 and often lower than this.

Weather:

We can run surf lessons as long as there is surf! Often smaller surf is more conducive to learning and Harlyn Bay is one of the safest and best learning beaches on the North Cornish coast. If we have any concerns about the weather and surf conditions we will endeavour to contact you – please note we do NOT cancel lessons if it is raining.
