2020 marks our 25th anniversary here at Harlyn Surf School, and we’ve been trawling through the archives and reminiscing right back to the days when it was just me, a Renault 5, a deckchair and a blackboard!
That was back in 1994, and we have come a long way since then! From our fashion sense, to our beach set up – so much has changed! But we are immensely proud of how we have grown as a business into Cornwall’s premier surf school and still sit proudly on the beautiful shores of Harlyn Bay. Not a day goes by where we take this for granted and we can’t thank our loyal customers enough for your support and the memories made!

Explore the stunning area by stand up paddleboard on one of our guided SUP tours accompanied by one of our experienced local guides.. Boost your knowledge of the sea, increasing safety and performance whilst enjoying the calm waters of Cornwall and indulging in a good dose of vitamin sea. No previous experience required.
Take a magical journey
Our sit-on-top kayak tours let you experience the Cornish coastline from a totally new perspective. Gliding across the shore, you’ll witness wildlife activity, hidden nooks and crannies and sheltered coves accessible only by kayak. We also have a wonderful estuary tour available exploring the stunning Camel Estuary. No previous experience is required.

Conquer the waves once and for all, with our unrivalled surf lessons. With 25 years experience behind us we know what works and what doesn’t. From beginners group sessions to private surf lessons, we cater for all the family. Harlyn Bay provides great conditions for all abilities, and has been voted as one of the top ten learn to surf locations in the UK. We have licensed access to Constantine and Boobys beach for those looking for a more challenging surf. Our ever popular kids surf camp bookings are now online available to book for the summer school holidays.
